Details of Youth Services in Wotton 2015

The Youth Centre in the Chipping is expanding!
Two evenings a week are now funded by the Town Council as the old 3year contract has run out.

The Wot-ton group is now running a Youth Café in the Centre on a Friday evening. Fundraising and grants will help to fund this latest enterprise.

The Town Trust owns the clubroom next door and very soon work will begin to open up both venues with a connecting door. The outside will be given a makeover with railings at the front and an extended grassed area to the rear. There will be more activities such as a memory club and table tennis.
The Youth Liaison Group committee the Curry night’s fundraising and our young people asked the traders for prizes. The town was very generous.

Money is needed for a youth shelter and summer activities, courses to help young people into the world of work and work around self-harming.

The Curry Night was another great success thanks to all the work put in beforehand and on the night.
